Thyme

Thyme

Thyme is an aromatic herb native to the Mediterranean region, used both for seasoning and healing purposes. It has a strong aroma and flavor that enhances the taste of meats, soups, sauces, cheeses, and other dishes. Additionally, thyme possesses medicinal properties that make it useful for treating various conditions and improving health. Thyme helps alleviate sore throat, cough, asthma, bronchitis, laryngitis, and respiratory infections, aids digestion, prevents gas formation, stimulates appetite, and eliminates excess fluids. It protects cells from damage caused by free radicals and prevents premature aging.

Thyme regulates blood pressure and prevents cardiovascular diseases. It fights fungal infections on the skin, scalp, and nails and acts as an analgesic, relieving headaches, rheumatism, arthritis, and muscle pains.

Please note: It is recommended to include thyme in the daily diet, always in moderation and without overdoing it, as it may cause some contraindications such as allergies, gastric irritation, or interactions with certain medications.
